We had such a wonderful Christmas at home this year. The day involved long luxurious naps, several mugs of hot chocolate, a proper Christmas dinner (that our friends made & dropped off for us - thanks friends!), a crisp winter walk, lots of snuggling with the girls & a visit from our dear friend Annie. Oh and playing with all the ribbons & wrapping that came with the huge pile of presents for the girls. It was truly overwhelming to see the pile of gifts that had accumulated during our hospital stay. These girls are very loved. As am I.
Three most special gifts this season:
1. The surprise Christmas party our dear Ana threw for us before we went into the hospital (& the amazing song she wrote for Havyn).
2. Getting the unexpected news that my sister would be able to stay through Christmas (and for several days after!) instead of having to leave first thing Christmas Day (I can't even describe how huge a gift that was. And how delightful it was to have her here!)
3. Getting to bring Ava Gray home for Christmas.♥
I tell you, my heart was FULL of thankfulness this holiday! Especially as I knew, knew, knew that all of these gifts were directly from the Father. Here's some shots of our Christmas & time with Linda. Enjoy!
Have's getting the hang of this unwrapping thing:
Annie, after a full night shift, still came to hang with her "princesses." Oh, but we love Annie.
Testing out the wooden puzzle...("Yep, it's solid wood") Thanks Have's!
Christmas walk! AG on left, Havyn on the right:
AG was asleep or eating during this one:
Hanging out with Dee-Da. The girls think she's just awesome. They are right.
My sister, without being asked, just took over all the night feeds with Ava Gray. Which meant neither of us got a ton of sleep, but I got way more than usual! Thank you, dear, tired, exhausted & still hilarious, sister!
Our little trooper!
Pretty sure Have's is thinking; "What in the....!?"

That's all for now friends. Thank you for the faithfulness of your prayers. He worked so powerfully through them. All praise to Him!!!
